Mr. Denenberg is a founding member of the firm and directs the firm’s transaction practice. Mr. Denenberg has developed an outstanding reputation for his understanding of the issues surrounding the purchase and sale of all types of commercial, residential, and multi-use properties. He is an expert in handling transactions involving creatively financed real estate acquisitions including tax credit programs sponsored by federal, state and local government agencies. In addition, Mr. Denenberg assists his clients in the development of their owner-management relationships, partnership agreements, financing strategies, and 1031 tax deferred planning.

Mr. Denenberg is an expert in the negotiation and preparation of commercial leases and their related or ancillary agreements. His background and experience in transactional real estate have provided Mr. Denenberg with a unique perspective and understanding of issues arising in both real estate and landlord-tenant litigation.

Mr. Denenberg is known as a highly skilled and aggressive litigator. He has a vast array of experience successfully representing clients in both commercial and residential holdover and nonpayment proceedings. In addition, Mr. Denenberg represents clients in all aspects of litigation both involving and before the many New York State and municipal agencies that have jurisdiction over issues affecting his clients in the real estate industry.
