Steven B. Sperber is a founding partner of the firm and directs the firm's aggressive litigation practice. Mr. Sperber is one of the most respected and talented trial attorneys practicing before the Housing Courts, Civil Court, and Supreme Court. His skills and reputation have proven to be a great asset to the firm and to his clients. Mr. Sperber has become the "attorney for attorneys" in that many of New York City's largest and most respected law firms rely on Mr. Sperber as trial counsel for their real estate related litigation.

Mr. Sperber has extensive experience representing owners and tenants in commercial and residential non-payment and holdover proceedings. He has successfully litigated non-primary residence proceedings, owner's own use proceedings, nuisance proceedings, and sublet/assignment cases. While directing the firm's landlord-tenant litigation, he also handles a wide variety of real estate litigation matters including, but not limited to, disputes between buyers and sellers, between landowners and their neighbors and disputes between partners and/or shareholders of ownership entities holding title to real estate.

Mr. Sperber has represented countless clients in commercial lease transactions, and maintains an active closing practice representing buyers and sellers of real property. He is a member of the Housing Court Advisory Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and is often called upon by other members of the bar and of the judiciary for his opinions on issues affecting both the court system and the real estate industry as a whole.
